Good product marketing happens through three things: good product understanding, good user empathy, and internal rapport with other teams.

User research is an integral part of how I function. I’ve been able to successfully bake it into everyday processes here at Beaconstac.

There are two main types of user research:

  1. Project-specific Research: This is research for a certain project. It has a start and an end.
  2. Continuous Research: This is always happening. It keeps giving the company new insights from user feedback.

Both types can be managed similarly, but the objective and time duration differ.

One of my proudest achievements is creating an ongoing user research process, with everyday research and weekly touchbases built into our routine.
